Briana Sprecher-Kinneer

Briana Sprecher-KinneerBriana received Bachelor of Arts degrees in Theatre and English from The University of Iowa and The University of Northern Colorado.

She was most recently seen in OpenStage Theatre & Company’s production of Rent, in the ensemble. Other past work with OST includes the roles of Desdemona in Othello and Columbia in The Rocky Horror Show (2011). Briana’s credits at Bas Bleu Theatre Company include stage managing the reader’s theatre productions Sight Unseen and Time Stands Still.

Briana has taught Theatre and directed theatre productions for eight years at Skinner Middle School in Denver, Valley High School in Gilcrest, Windsor High School, Greeley Central High School, Laurel and Bennett elementary schools in Fort Collins, Poudre School District’s Explore Enrichment program, the City of Fort Collins Recreation Department, and Debut Theatre Company.

Favorite past student productions include The Little Match Girl, Skinflints and Scoundrels, The Most Massive Woman Wins, and East of the Sun, West of the Moon.

The After Party‘s script is the second work by Briana to be produced after Sugarplumbing, her adaptation of E.T.A. Hoffman’s The Nutcracker.

Briana is also a professional tickler and zerberter for clients (and children) Alister (age 6) and Maggie (age 2).
