David Austin-Groen

David Austin-GroenDavid was most recently seen as Caliban in the Open Stage Theatre & Company production of The Tempest.  Previously, he appeared as David O. Selznik in Moonlight and Magnolias, and as thirteen different characters in The 39 Steps. Other local credits include Engstand in Ghosts and King Tereus in For the Love of a Nightingale at Bas Bleu Theatre. He is a founding member of Fort Collins’ own Comedy Brewers Improv Group.

Favorite roles from the past twenty-five years on stage include Agamemnon (Apocrypha), Stuart (Cooking with Elvis), Benedick (Much Ado About Nothing), Horatio (Hamlet), Master Ford (Merry Wives of Windsor), Launcelot Gobbo (The Merchant of Venice), Edward Winslow (A Pilgrim’s Project) and Father Welsh (The Lonesome West). Additionally, David was the director of RadioStar Improv in San Francisco, an improvisational podcasting group with over 150 episodes online.

Dave’s next performance will be as Todd in the OpenStage Theatre & Company production of Unnecessary Farce, which runs February 14 – March 14, 2015.
